Privacy policy.
What we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how to ask us to delete it. Effective May 14, 2026.
This policy describes the data Clyrke collects when you subscribe to our service, and how we use, share, and protect it. We align with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
1. What we collect
Account data: name, business name, email address, billing address, payment method (handled by our payment processor — we don't store card numbers).
Onboarding intake: business hours, services offered, brand assets you upload (logo, copy, photos), customer-flow preferences.
Operational data: information flowing through your booking system, CRM, marketing campaigns, and review automation — including the contact information of customers you ask us to manage on your behalf.
Technical data: standard server logs, anonymized IPs, and aggregate analytics for the Clyrke marketing site and your hosted Clyrke site.
2. How we use it
To build and run your Clyrke system as agreed; to bill you and manage your subscription; to provide customer support; to improve our service; to send service updates and (with your consent) marketing; and for required legal, regulatory, or compliance purposes.
3. Third parties
We use trusted infrastructure providers — hosting, domain registrar, payment processor, transactional email and SMS providers, and analytics — each governed by their own data-handling agreements. We don't sell your data. We share only what's necessary for the service to function.
4. Your customers' data
Customer information stored in the Clyrke CRM, or flowing through booking and marketing campaigns, belongs to you. We act as a service provider processing it on your behalf. You're responsible for the lawful basis on which you collected it and for honoring requests from your customers about their data.
5. Cookies & tracking
The Clyrke marketing website uses minimal cookies for session management and aggregate analytics. Your hosted Clyrke site may use additional cookies depending on the features you enable (booking, analytics, etc.) — a per-site cookie notice is included on every Clyrke-managed site.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Email support@clyrke.com with your request — we respond within 30 days. If you're unsatisfied with how we handle your data, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
7. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as you're a Clyrke subscriber, plus up to 12 months after cancellation for billing, tax, and audit purposes. You can request earlier deletion subject to our legal retention obligations.
8. International transfers
Some of our infrastructure providers may store or process data outside Canada (typically in the United States). We rely on contractual safeguards equivalent to the standard contractual clauses recognized under PIPEDA.
9. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), access controls, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure — we notify you promptly of any breach affecting your data, as required by applicable law.
10. Children
Clyrke is built for businesses, not consumers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
